like the wheels - never seen them on a 'real life' E70 before.

anyone know if we can get them in the USA ?

I don't see them in the accessories section on bmwusa.com, but I believe they're the stlyle 177 wheels, not sure what size they are.

well the spare wheel would be a great parking aid.;)

So that thing must swing out to allow you to open the back door.

The spare tire could cost a mint in a rear-ender. I wondered what the nudge bar would look like. I can do without. As for the cross bars - they look like the standard BMW fix. Since I have the ski and snowboard attachments from my E53, I guess I will be getting a set for Christmas (the E53 ones do not fit).

I have to close this thread fast before I start to have nightmares.http://www.germancarzone.com/images/...s/t-upside.gif

Agree with everyone else - spare tire looks horrendous on this thing. About everything else though - I was contemplating the front bar plus the aero kit on a silver/gray E70 but after seeing this, I'm not so sure on either. I have a brush guard on my current vehicle and it enhances the look IMO, but it doesn't for the X. The aero kit on the front looks amazing, but looking straight at the back, it looks too... how can I put this... pimp-my-ride-ish. I'm thinking it could be more subtle from that angle. The rear, profile-view of it is great though. http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e70-forum/...ics-e70-k.html

Someone had a black with black aero kit and that looked much nicer than this color contrast. It's too bad I still like the silver or gray.

Scottie, this actually drops the wheel right down to the ground level, so that when you take the wheel off, the wheel is actually in contact with the ground. It has 2 "lockable positions" - one such position is parallel with the road so that the lower portio of the tailgate can be opened without having to remove the wheel, it can also only accommodate 18 to 19" wheels. And it was developed locally in this country too. Retal approx 760 to 1,300 USD.

Yea, but I still would not put that on mine.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi sorry was away for the weekend. The wheels are style 177 20's. The spare wheel carrier would leave a hole in the bumper if you removed it, the nudge bar can be removed and the cover put on to hide the holes. In any case decided to wait and order the exact one I want (no nudge bar or spare wheel holder) DEFINITELY the aero kit and wheels. Probably Space Grey. Will keep updated.

can't they put on a new rear bumper??
