Sanity check UK 3.0D M Sport date?
 

I am just debating if to go for a 3.0D SE with the dynamic pack which I can get for September this year to my spec or if to wait for the proper UK sport version.

I wondered if any body had an informed update on the ship date of the 3.0D Sport version? my local Sytners says Q1 2008 hence me thinking of going the SE route.

Any inside info on this much appreciated :thumbup:

Ive a deposit with sytners High wycombe..

Theyve confirmed Msport, twin turbo d and "individual" for January 2008.
Ive seen a couple of posts on other forums talking about november december, from my understnading from a couple of dealers this is build date not "you can collect your car date"......

Thanks...lots of conflicting information. By coincidence I have just had a call from the Sales Manager of my local Sytner who says the 3.0d Sport has now slipped to March 2008.

No mention of the 3.0SD version.

I'm very disappointed with the M Sport I will be ordering a 3.0d SE with Dynamic Pack very shortly. Ask your dealer if he's heard anything about the 3.0d be re-tuned so that it beats the 225g/km limit....I've heard it will be.

Hi Have just pulled this from a Quotation of a forum in Holland:

1. I ordered mine in March '07
2. Production week 36, supply 6 week later
3. In Holland 4,900 euro more than 3.0DA
4. Equipment is alike.

I have my contract before me to lie here.
Order could be made in Holland starting from 05.04.2007.
Model FF01 X5 3.0sd E70, PW Dealer 36/09/2007.
Productionsnmmer is also drauf.
Starting from KW36 produced BMW Nederland said.

I have been told that the 3.0d Sport will now be available in the UK for production from week 35 (September). Dealers have been told this in the last day or so. Still would rather have the SE with Dynamic Pack......
