Winter set ups

I'm curious..What are you guys doing for winter set ups? Anyone think of it yet? It seems the wheels are getting bigger. I run 18s on my E53 for winter. IF I decide to go for an E70 with a sports package, that comes with what, 20s or 21s? Do I turn in my E53 with my summer set up (19" staggered) and keep my 18s for winter?

I have plenty of time and I'm not even sure that I will go for an E70, purely speculation at this stage.

TIA

e70 sport comes with 19s, 20's are extra and are not all season. unless u live in a very heavy snowfall area, it doesnt seem worth all the additional cost/hassle of having an extra set of snow tires. technology helps a lot and the all season tires arent bad either, imo

I did nothing to the E70 this past winter. The new Bridgestone tires are better in the snow than the Mich's. I have the standard 18s. Plus, it is better in the snow with the new xDrive system.

L if you get an E70 you can send your 19"s this way;)

I don't think E53 18" will work on E70. But you were getting E71, why E70?

Don't you mean E72 ;)

I guess the E70 is more closely related to the X6 than the E53 and E83...they should have similar underpinnings, correct?

Thanks True and Skarlet..

My wheels are spinning, no pun intended. 6 months till lease end. Not sure if the timing will work with the X6, I've been seeing more E70s on the road and they are growing on me.
As much as I hate to admit it, my practical side shot down the 650 :(

Anyone keeping count on how many times I change my mind ;)

:thud: Please don't do that, I can resist anything but temptation. I drool everytime I see one. I had one in front of me in traffic Friday night. I stared at it the way you stare at Jessica's boobies.
