Xenon Blub Upgrade?
I am looking into upgrading my stock xenon blub with a set of 10000K. I was just wondering what is the stock temp. 4300K?
|
Don't really think that is an "upgrade" as far as light output. 10,000K will put out less light (lumens) than the stock bulbs. It will give you a different color that's it.

Yes Denalio,
I mean I want to upgrade the color or the xenon. |
10,000k is so purple that my flashlight will put out more light than your xenon. Even 8000k is pushing toward the dark blue/purple spectrum. To answer your question...yes, the stock bulb is 4300k

Well here are my 2 cents, i got a e53 and i just installed 8000k and sure there is a difference but with xenons the difference for me is nil and i dont wear glassess, lol. Seriously tho, i would get them if you like the colour look, but the difference ppl are talkin about is what they have read from hid kits for non-projector lights, i think they are fine, its still illuminates the road enough and the projectors give it less glare normally seen in halogen upgraded lights! I say go for it, dont push over 8000k, then you be lookin to cook some uncle bens, but 8000k or evn 6000k makes a nice difference.
