you want 24 inch or 26 inch rims when the largest i can get is only 18 inches. be happy with the honeycomb 20- inch ones. i would die for those!

LeMansX5 06-15-2007 11:13 PM

I will not go more than 23" on E70 X5, and even that will give you a very rough ride. Why do you say 10x24? that should be wider than 10". The OEM 21" are wider than 10".

SpeedR 06-15-2007 11:57 PM

Why would anyone want greater than 21" wheels? I'm sorry, I don't get the bling bling, rubber band wrapped around a hunk of chrome look. The diameter of the 20" wheels with the sports package look the best IMHO.

wow, i ordered a set of DPE 22's and I am very nervous that they will look too big.
26's ??? buy a H2

They spinnin' :)

chris24 06-18-2007 06:33 PM

20's, 21's, look great. Not sure about 22's but I'd think that's pushing it a little. 26's? hope you drive only in straight lines and don't mind wasting money on a high performance vehicle that won't be capable of high performance driving with those wagon wheels.... Sorry man, that's insane and ghetto..

Wagner, I was typing my response when you posted that pic, great minds........

Plus sizing your wheels for true performance sake:thumbup:

Plus sizing the width of your wheels to put more rubber on the road:thumbup:

Plus sizing the width of your wheels for the FAT "performance" look from the rear:thumbup:

Plus sizing the diameter of your wheels just for the sake of the "bling" factor:thumbdown

To me this is the automotive equivalent to gold chains!!

Just my opinion

SpeedR 06-18-2007 07:16 PM

Just for kicks I did some quick calcs. E70 tire diameter is 29.5", so if you could get 26x10" rims, you would need to find something like 315/15-26 tires. These would give you a side wall of just over 1.5"!! I doubt 15 series tires are possible.

Good luck and BLING BLING
