Sports vs Comfort Seats
Does anyone have any opinions on this? I drove an X5 with Sports seats today and thought that the seats were comfortable but not overly generous. I think the Sports seats in my 5 series are more comfortable. Has anyone tried both the Sports and Comfort seats, how much better are the comfort seats?
Also are the rear seats different in cars that don't have the third row of seats? I thought the ones in the car I tested today (it had the third row) were okay but not great. |
Seriously mate there is no comparison having sat in both, Definitely the comfort seats.

:iagree:

Thanks! I was impressed by the ride of the car today. Much less fidgety than my 5 series Sport.

there have been many posts on this already - take a look

I have the active ventilated seats (includes comfort seat adjustments) and love them. Perfect fit to your body, per the adjustments, and the cooling feature is very effective on a hot day.

Got my e70 today...Ive had comfort seats on my last e53 and 7 series and they were great...my new e70 has sports seats AND I HATE THEM! Already! The headrest simply does not reach your head.....there a bit hard as well....very dissapointed. Ive got an 3.0sd on order and will defintly have comfort on that....

I don't understand why people think the headrest is meant to touch your head while driving ? Get some velcro !!! LOL.

Spent 10 hours driving yesterday in the e70.... OWE SPORTS SEATS REALLY hurt. they have a gap either at your head or the base of your spine depdning on how you position the chair. If your going to buy sports seats at least buy lumber support or youll regret it. In fact dont bother with sports seats just buy comfort ones, ive had them on 7's and my last e53 and there Sooooo much better.
