Question about Aero Kit
When I order my x5 I would like it to have a "sporty" appearance, I have heard that the Aero kit is the best way to do this. Now I am leasing the car so do I tell BMW that I want this and they do this for me or is it something after-market I have to get? Also I am afraid that if it is after-market it might cause some kind of damage to my car or void something because I am leasing and not buying.

your x5 looks great with the kit. Did you lease too? How much should it increase my payments? Am thinking of getting an alpine white x5 with AK,Does the AK include the titanium grill and running boards? thanks for answering.

Am just curious, what do you play on doing with the kit after you return the lease, take it off and sell it?

You wouldnt want to do that based on the manner of fixing and bonding to the existing bumpers. Best to keep them on. |
Thats the problem that I have, I am going to spend 2 gs on a Aero Kit and then basically just "give" it to BMW when I turn in my lease?

If you do take it off the bumper will be damaged and require repair if thats possible. The choice is yours mate, would the Aerokit give any uplift to the residual at the end of the lease. How long is the lease? |

I was going to add the Aero Kit, but was told it cant be added because I already have the hitch...I would really like to add the Aero kit. |

I think the X5 pictured in the accessories brochure had the hitch... not 100% sure tough? X5FX, I'm not sure if you want to know about the aero kit or the ///M sport kit? In the case of the ///M, I don't know anymore that has been posted here. If it's the aero kit you are wondering about... ask away. What would you like to know? |
