X5 3.0 or 4.8 badging
Does anybody know if the 3.0 or 4.8 badging on the X5 can be removed clean and not have any holes underneath. Sounds stupid but I like removing the badging on my cars and just leave the BMW logo.
Thanks |
There are no holes underneath the badges, so you can take them off without any problems.
I have mine without the 4.8i badges and without the X5 badge on the rear. |
Blow a hairdryer on the badge for about 6-8 minutes, then slide dental floss behind the badge. It should come off cleanly. You may need to clean up some of the extra glue.

Thanks Michelle and Ryan for the quick response. The hair dryer and the dental floss is a great idea. Thanks!
