July 2007 X Series Sales Report

July sales of the BMW X3 and X5 Series totaled 5,212 units, up 14.9% from the 4,537 trucks sold last July. YTD sales of 36,395 units of the X Series is up 6.7% when compared to the 34,106 trucks sold during the first 7 months of 2006.
For those of you who are interested Mercedes-Benz sold 5,650 trucks this month, down 3.8% from the 5,873 units sold last July. For the first 7 months of 2007 sales of MB trucks are up 12.4% when compared to the same period of 2006. Of the 39,804 MB trucks sold thru July, 2007 over half (53.3%) were the new R Class and GL Class. Please note that I report only United States sales data. MB hit was probably related to the E70 being the new kid on the block.

It's too bad there isn't a website with sales for all auto makers. It would be nice to also see Acura, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc. along with the 4 mentioned.

The new X5, at 9,366 deliveries (prev.yr. 5,517/+69.8%), recorded the highest increase in sales. :thumbup:
