Just picked up our new family member a few days ago, E70 3.0D with sat Nav & 20" wheels inc a few other goodies and I'm all smiles! The comfort seats are worth every dollar and so is the Panoramic sunroof, it's amazing. I was real happy with my dealers tow bar installation job, it was so much better than I ever expected, in short my dealer (Trivett Classic in Sydney) turned this purchase into a dream. Overall, I'm really impressed with this vehicle, the 3.0d engine is sublime and the built quality is great. One very very happy new owner. Cant forget the service from my dealer, 10 out 10 to Daniel O & the boys !! Do the BMW brand proud.

Many thanks guys, I know Space grey will be very common on the E70 in a few years but I don't care, it had me won from the first moment I saw the colour 8 months ago and I'm still in love with it now, it's like a chameleon colour. Sapire black was also nice but I was moving on from a black BMW and had decided with my partner it was time for something different.
As for the Tow bar it was a HUGE relief to see it fitted this well especially after having seen online some horror jobs.

Space Grey was my (very close)second choice.. very nice. Can I ask how much the dealer charged for the towbar and fitting ?

Thanks

Jamesboags, I'm afraid the news is not great... :( .. It wasn't cheap, cost approx $2300. yes it hurt me also but I'm at least grateful they did a respectable job fitting it on.

Hi LVR, I also was originally quoted just over $1650+ during one of my first vehicle quotes with another dealer, in the process of amending the quote that dealer made a booboo and included the tow bar to the quote without charging for it. In the end I believe the dealer must of noted their error and they wouldn't return any of my phone calls or messages so I walked into another dealer and mentioned the quote, without hesitation they matched it ;) ... When I did ask on the tow bars retail cost I was advised that it was approx $2300.
