rear doors don't shut properly

my rear doors need a good slam to shut close and I think its because I have comfort seats. they extend out on the sides a little more then regular seats. Does anyone else with rear door problem have comfort seats?

I have to slam the left hand door, but not the right hand one. I have standard seats with third row. My guess is a slight misalignment of the door mechanism. Got used to it now though. Had a similar problem on one of my E53s.

I had the same problem with my 530I (with comfort seats). First i thought the problem came from the seats but it prooved it was the door seals.
After 1 year the problem dissapeared as the seals started to wear.
I think the rear door seals are tougher than the front ones.

I don't have comfort seats but noticed my rear right door takes a bit of a bang to close... Need those "MY08" soft close doors !!!!

thanks for the response. After a closer inspection I noticed the seal around my door has started to unglue itself. I pulled on it a little and more peeled off.

Yes, that seems to be an issue (seal coming off). I have mine at the dealer right now getting fixed.

Somthing about the smell of a Mazda Tribute from Enterprise Rental that makes the entire process of fixing these stupid little details all worth the time and effort.
