August 2007 BMW Group Sales Report
 

BMW Group vehicle sales this August were up a significant 19.3% when compared to last August. Sales this August totaled 30,639 units vs. 25,673 units last August. YTD sales for the first 8 months of 2005 were up 8.1% reaching a total of 223,341 units sold compared to only 206,530 units sold during the same 8 month period of 2006.

Sales of the X Series were up 6.9% when compared to last August and car sales were also up 22.1% relative to August, 2006 as the 3, 5, and 6 Series all had a good month.

Sales of the BMW brand were up 18.5% this month when compared to last August.

Total MB sales of 20,980 vehicles were up 1.8% when compared to the 20,602 sold last August. YTD 2007 sales for MB are “flat” with total sales for the 8 months of the year of 157,806 units compared to 157, 128 units sold during the same period of last year.
