21 inch is rather harsh, especially on bad roads. Think twice ...

i recently upgraded from standard 18s to 214 20s... so far i'm enjoying the improvements.. feels much more planted and corners much better...

i actually havent' noticed a big difference in the way it absorbs bumps..

i believe going to 21s would make it more noticeable...

I was thinking of going from 19" to 20" as well. How does it absorb bumps? is it better of worse? is it more stiffer or softer?

I have just put my summer 20" wheels back on from running winter 19" rims with non run flat tyres. At first I didnt notice much difference but I am noticing that the 20s crash a bit on the bumps and tramline more. I expected as much but I much prefer the 19s. Perhaps 20s with non runflats would be better!

i have an E60 M5 for that! :)

Are you in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
The exact car you have is what sold me on the X5 and the color space gray. It might have been your car because it looked 100% the same. I saw it driving in Jumeirah and decided I wanted a space gray 4.8 with grey 215's and the aero kit.
Ended up getting a space grey 4.8 m sport a couple weeks later

I might have some 214's FS towards the end of July; not sure yet if I'll keep them or not it all depends how the 215's look one the deep sea blue.
