Just back from Frankfurt Motorshow(pics)
 

Had a business meeting in Frankfurt and got some (press)tickets for IAA (which was not open for public yet). I didnt have a lot of time, so I basically ran around. They had some nice X5 E70-ties, most on 23" (!) Here are some snapshots. Sorry I didnt have better shots incl interiors. One note on the side: the X6 really impressed me. It looked very sharp. The X5 as 4 door coupe SAV

Nice pictures. When I saw the pictures of the white ACS with the type IV wheels last Friday when ACS released them, I started thinking and that resulted in changing my order from 21" Ferric Grey wheels to the ACS Type IV in 22" Magic Black last Monday.

Seeing these pictures I'm glad I did.

I think AC Schnitzer rims looks better than Hamann ones.

Maybe I am getting too old, but I think they all look terrible, far too much bling for me! I prefer a nice understated car.

Why choose black for a show car? I mean what's the worst colour for you to see the detail of the bodykit.

The hamann version is my choice very aggressive, almost porsche like panels probably costs as much as the car itself :) the reason they went with black in my opinion is they wanted a sinister look and what better color to achieve that than black.

hamann, lumma, and even ac did it right, imo the new x5 doesnt look aggressive enough and these kits changed that and ++++. Got to give it to hamann and yes, the color they chose must have been for a reason but i still like the other colors offered for e70!

Really nice pics. Did you manage to get some pics of the X5's at the BMW booth? Wondering whether you know the X5's shown in the Frankfurt show are 07 or 08 spec?:thumbup:

I ve only spotted one blue 3.0 E70 in BMW booth/building (which must have been new spec) but no pictures, sorry

AC body kit with Hamman wheels would look sick
