WOW...What a FUC**NG IDIOT. When you push the button NOTHING HAPPENS!!! What did he think I was talking about. Unfortunatly I didnt notice this till after I left. There is even a SIB that discusses this problem!

Functional Bookmark Button #3 Inoperative or Activates on its Own

MODEL
E70 (X5) with CCC (Car Communication Computer SA 609)

Vehicles produced up to January 23, 2007

SITUATION

The customer is not able to set a functional bookmark to programmable button #3. The button cannot be pushed in as far as the other buttons to store a function.
The CCC randomly switches to one of the stored functional bookmark settings.

CAUSE
Button carrier tolerance

If button #3 cannot be pushed in as far as the other buttons of the front panel, modify the carrier as per the procedure in the attachment.
Replace the button panel carrier on the CCC as per Repair Manual RA 6583565.
