New Ipod Classic bug with BMW Ipod/USB Adaptor

I just bought a new Ipod 6th Generation Classic 80GB. When you plug it into the BMW installed Ipod/USB adaptor, all works correctly from the BMW standpoint, i.e. music plays, lists display in IDrive, etc. However, the Ipod itself freezes in auxillary mode and you cannot switch it off. The only way to switch it off or stop it from freezing, is to unplug it from the adaptor and reboot it.

maybe thats normal :P maybe its cuz the 6th generation iPod ..

what do u use to connect it to the car ?
