I have experienced somthing similar, not sure if this is what he is talking about:

After it rains (or you wash the car) and you open the rear door- a small amount of water sits on top of the door trim and it drips on the seat when you open the door. It is annoying, but nothing to worry about.

the water is trapped between the door seals. had about a cup or so the first time.

trapped between the door is not the same as in the door I suppose, but I don't recall mine doing that. but then it doesn't rain much (if at all) out here.

this hapenes to me too

Has happened to me twice after a lot of rain. It has rained here for the past 2 days. Today it did not rain, but as I opened the rear doors, trapped water was let out (both sides).
