Adaptive drive is called that? And is it included in a package?

in uae , the sport package doesnt come with the sport button ,

i drove my friend's x5 and he had a sport package with adaptive drive and its really unbelievable ,

i wish i orderd mine with adaptive drive , its really comfortable when your just cruising around , and very sporty when you hit the button its really
amazing , i wish i knew about it earlier....

For 2007 models it is called "Adaptive Drive"...dont know why they would change the name.

In the U.S. it is included in Sports Package (2007 model)...I would assume it is in 2008 too, but not sure.

its true that in uae the e70's with sports package doesnt have that "sport" button ..

i dont think its called automatic damping control .. that has something to do with the brakes when they're wet !!!

what does adaptive drive do anyway ? and how does it make it so good when cruising around in jumeirah , infront of japengos ? :rofl:

There is a great video of adaptive drive somewhere .. it senses roll etc and adjusts the shocks , sway bars etc to compensate... It use a high speed networking protocol called Flexray... Your sport pack suspension in UAE may be like other countries outside US.. simply upgraded shocks that are not adjustable.

It mainly uses the anti roll bars to compenstate gents, they are active.

hehe nice one .... it makes you go over speed bumps better than land cruiser and patrol, its alot more comfortabe on rough roads ..
