is the saddle interior an option or not for 08 in USA?
 

once posted it was now its not listed.. i read the 4.8 had it and not 3.0... anyway possible the saddle comes out a few months later for both?

I was told I could have it in a Nov. build, Now I am told unavailable. Who knows what is really going on. It's not like they don't have the saddle brown leather available.

Supergreg did mention that Saddle Brown is available for the MY 2008 in the US.

It's not on the list he got AFTER said it was available though, so the jury is still out on it I think.

I ordered a car with saddle brown and the system wouldn't take it. I was told it might be available later.

the reason in USA its not available because its known that people in USA usually like white and black leather mostly .. that way they can restrict the saddle brown for a while and then when its available u might pay double the price of the saddle interior

BMWNA has sent lots of conflicting messages on this topic. When I checked a couple of weeks ago, there were US orders in the system with saddle brown interior. I'm not sure about the status of those orders now. BMW is doing a very poor job of communicating information about the 08's. Just read the thread about dealers trying to double dip for the multi contour seats/ZAV package for a prime example. This may have reverted back to a priority 1 special order now :dunno:.
