THANKS !!!

1. no this only applies to the front windscreen.
2. This is the black sports roof lining rather than the standard white one
3. No - this is the standard cruise control - the braking is if you are going down hill to stop the car speeding up
4. No idea!
5. yes

1. This is the UV protection windscreen. It has somewhat of a "purplish" hue to it.
http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/x5_pho...lery/sold9.jpg
2. I believe this is the "anthracite" or black headliner.
3. Brakes are applied when going downhill like Stumpy said.
4. I believe this is the dark gray "privacy" glass for all of the rear windows that comes with the US Climate Package option.
5. Yes, the term "DSP" signifies equalizer capabilities that only come with the higher end Premium sound system IMO.

I'm sorry, but does anyone else have a problem with an 18 year old kid driving an $80,000 car? What's the logic here? Where is the incentive to make something for yourself?

Happy Birthday:confused::rofl::confused::rofl:

Xajaji 10-12-2007 12:31 PM

congragulation KaiFy GaiwanY and Eid Mubarak

you have almost all options
but I noticed that you have sport suspention 226 in your spesifications insted of adaptive drive (2VA) !!!!!

IMO with all these full specifications adaptive drive is almost a must option and it will soften your ride

We call it Texas Tea; they call it tapwater.

FYI, you can always tell the cars here in San Diego that get tinted in Tijuana - they have that fugly purple tint.

Denalio 10-12-2007 12:43 PM

The Climate windscreen is Athermic. It may cause problems if you are using a Radar Detector, aftermarket GPS or a transponder of any sort.

Most importantly, drive safe. You may consider yourself intelligent but at 18 years you still lack the driving experience. I don't know the traffic conditions in the UAE but since you mentioned that there are people your age driving Astons, it's safe to say that they won't be going speed limit (if there is one).

we do have speed limits here in dubai .. on most streets its a maximum of 140 kph and 90% of dubai roads are covered with permanent radars .. if u get caught then u have to pay around AED 400 which is about $ 1,600 .. how about that ? dubai has rules too u know ..

True, but it does offer a "cutout" at the bottom center expressly for that purpose.

This is not exactly a full option. E.g. no adaptive drive and the leather is just nevada... sports suspension may help in case if someone has kidney stones but air suspension would be more useful, mostly if one goes for a desert trip. Got wood selector? Btw how does poplar look with saddle brown?

wood selector is an accessory !! and BTW adaptive drive is not available to an e70 with sports package in the UAE .. if u get a sports e70 then u get sports suspension here in UAE

another thing .. nevada leather is better than Nappa !!

Adaptive Drive is an option that you can get in Middle East even if you have the sport package, but the dealer will not recommend the option if you have order the sport package code # 330. The reason, because the car will cost you more money (around $4,300) which they think Arab’s don't really care about driving quality. Arab cares more about body appearances.

* BTW I don't see that you got the Sport Package.

Beeeep, wrong, the Nevada leather is tha standard type, the Nappa is coming with extended leather interieur meaning some parts of the door and the dash board are in Nappa leather instead of plastic....
The Nappa leather is much more soft than the Nevada, to say it short
itīs fantastic !!!

:goodluck: with the new car and happy birthday

are you sure about that??? I don't they were both similar in the number of areas covered in leather!! the only difference is harder/rocky type design vs softer flatter design...

also heard the softer leather was more prone to rips and wears easily..

not sure what I have on my current Landcruiser...it's tan leather interior but not as soft as the nappa...

i like the durability of the nevada...

anyone else have comments??

I currently have a M3 with Napa and it is great - there are many E46 M3s out there with lots of miles and no real issue with premature wear on the seats.

Only thing with Nappa is that if you get the 3rd row..then by default that is Nevada only. So, you would have what would look like a bit of a mis-match between front/rear and 3rd row if you went Nappa.
