Remote Boot Release and Closing

Not sure if this has been posted before but my dealer has just confirmed that it goes into production from week 44.....my car is week 45! In the UK it is about a £350 option.

My UK English is improving by being here...

boot, bonnet, petrol, quid... ;)

I still can't get the liter/km conversions though. :D

1 mile/gallon = 0.43 km/liter (roughly)

Glad I spotted this post. Just had a call today that my x goes into production in the next 10 days and I was able to add the auto tail gate option. £370 :)

drod 10-16-2007 10:10 PM

sounds like they are truly going ahead with this option..

I was honestly waiting until I knew for sure that it would be included in the build...

if you guys are getting confirmation than I guess I can go ahead and place my order next week..

somehow, i still have this strange feeling that I should wait till mid or late Nov..

dwarfer 10-17-2007 04:25 AM

Does the auto tail gate just operate on the top half (auto open and auto close) or does it also operate the bottom section?

drod 10-17-2007 06:41 PM

I believe it's just top half.... open and close
