how long does it take for a "ON ORDER" TO "SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION"?

What color exterior and interior did you order?

In General, Status 111 "On Order" lasts one to three weeks prior to going Status 112, "Scheduled for Production"

it may take months .. i ordered my e70 in july . early july to be specific and i still dont have it ..
its scheduled to arrive at oct 26 .. next week

It depends, I think, but in my case:

order -> schedule: 1 week
scheduled --- jumped to ---> VPC: little over 2 weeks
VPC -> BMW center: 1 week

Total about 1 month.

And, I got it already, one of the first 2008 X5!!

That's because you ordered it before it was in production.

Not much...

I have 3.0si, and I thought chrome exhausts for 3.0si, new for 2008, would be the same ones as 4.8i, but they are not.

They just chrome plated the not-so-pretty 2007 3.0si's exhaust pipe.

I think 4.8i will be exactly the same as 2007 model.

Do you have any pictures of the new exhaust tips?
