dealerrater.com? Run by autospies.com. = pretty much garbage. Don't trust it.

So far I had 3 experiences with Life Quality in Brooklyn, (mostly positive)
1) Drove right in for emergency service on a car purchased from another dealer and that was pretty good considering I drove in with brake problems and had all brakes and rotors replaced in 3 hours. (no loner was offered but thats understandable)
2) Called in to schedule service for odd noise and closes appointment was available in about a month.
3) Great sales without much hassling, will tell you more once I pick up my X5. At times slow with responding to calls, but there was nothing urgent so, I cant really complain.

only grumpy/dissatisfied people take the time to seek out and fill out performance surveys.

Actually I posted there- I love my dealer's service (VOB in Rockville- Gint is the greatest) but did have a problem with lack of knowledge on the part of the body shop which I relayed.

So from my standpoint at least- it's reliable, trustworthy information. The more people who post there and share the better it is for all of us- the dealers and BMW too. I don't know of any other venues for rating dealers- so I was happy to see at least one out there.

What I don't trust is BMW's own rating system.

looking at the list it seems no one is worth it!! they all have pretty bad reviews...

but I'm sticking to Westchester BMW...so far they've been good to me and you can drop off your car any day, any time, 7 days a week..(even at 3:00am!!)

doesn't mean they'll look at it...but at least you don't have to take a day or to drop it off.
