my e70 arrived before last night at the dealers but i had to wait for 2 days cuz they had to retrofit the aero kit and change my rims to the Y-Spokes ..
Today , right after i came back from university , my dad passed a cheque to me so that i could go and finalize the paymnets .. As i was about to leave , my dad got a phone call and i thought it was the usual "business" talks with a few friends , so i went to my room and did a few things and when i got back , my dad just got off the phone with my dealer and apparently , the dealership got the order mixed up and what came to them was a black x5 with beige interior instead of the "platinum bronze" exterior and saddle interior !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was furious !!!!!!!! i mean i waited for over 4 months for my E70 ..

they gave me an offer to take the black x5 with the beige interior and as a gift they'll give me the rear entertainment package but i just pushed it away ..

to me the black x5 is nothing compared to the the the platinum bronze .. i mean in the black one , the aero kit doesnt even show ..
i remember ordering the saddle interior specifically because we all have bad experiences with the usual beige ones that get dirty rather quickly ..

my dad and i have an appointment with the manager tomorrow at 6 pm our time .. Hope he has something good to say , otherwise ill never deal with BMW again and id rather get the Porsche Cayenne Turbo to start with !!

4 months of waiting for nothing !!!
and i just turned 18 five days ago , i got my driving license like 4 days ago and that E70 was supposed to be my birthday present !!!!!!!!!!!!!:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: !!!!!!! :bsflag:

and even though that video is fake for a marketing campaign, it's hard to believe you are for real.

agreed, it's a mistake by BMW... but it's your attitude and approach that bothers people, and others, i'm sure.

you should really take some time to reflect on these things.

if i wanted a black x5 ,i wouldve gotten a black one .. and BTW needless to say , im already going for the black one , its better than nothing .. and BTW , did u wonder why i created this thread ? u think i created it to show that i didnt want a black x5 but got it ?

trust me, i don't envy you one bit. i also find it humorous for you to assume my wealth or lifestyle... you might be quite surprised. you really don't seem to learn much for someone who is already 18. it's your attitude... and with that attitude, you won't learn very much in life or experience those things of true value....

and another thing marc .. if this x5 costs me 20k USD , then i wouldnt give a rats ass about the color .. but paying 325,000 AED plus 20,000 AED for insurance .. im sure that you would also get mad if u found out that it wasnt the color you chose ..

Wow. You really have some issues.

For the record I don't envy you at all. In fact I feel very,very sad for you. Life has a terrible habit of levelling things out. I am sure all your friends like you because of who you are and not just because you'll be driving a nice car. With an attitude like that you will go through life alienating people, I have many many friends that are wealthy but none of them shout about from the rooftops like you seem to have the need to. Hopefully you'll grow out of it.

If I was that wealthy, I wouldn't have waited 4 months to get my X5. I'd have gone to Germany and bought it from the manufacturer and had it shipped to my house in a container. If I was that wealthy.
