That's the aluminium interior isn't it. Think wood with tobacco would look awful...mind I hate wooden interiors. It's weird how they don't offer aluminium in the US, in UK 90% of BMW's don't have wood....indeed if they have they are less desireable. Each to their own!

It's aluminum trim... I'll post better pics as soon as I can...

The tobacco looks quite different in the flesh doesnt it?

I ordered tobacco and it doesnt have that reddy tinge at all.

Yeah... that's city driving.... The best I do on road trip is 12.8l/100km, that of course w/ my e53.....

Tobacco is the appropriate color for Nicaragua, I hope you get to enjoy many fine Nicaraguan cigars in your beautiful new ride!

That video is a great find. The video is as close to real life as I've seen (everyone's digital cameras process color differently as we all know); but this color does take on a life of its own when paired with different exterior and carpet colors as well as lighting. It looks a little darker and grayer when paired with black carpet and the dark green exterior on a '05 or '06 I saw two months ago on a lot. But you can clearly see it has a different hue inside JGADEA's white exterior and uber-bright interior.

Bottom line for me was to go see it in person. But there was only one X5 within 200 miles of me that had it and the exterior was not my color choice.

P.S. My wife described the color as Milk Dud.
