Hoi Steef,

How are the Hartge exaust pipes fitted?

I can see from the pics that they bolt on but do you have to cut the existing exaust pipes then bolt these on, or does the existing exaust have joins in the same location so its simply a unbolt old pipes and bolt these new ones on?

I have heard from Hartge dealer that they install them in just 10 minutes
so I don't think you have to cut the existing ones.

For 3.0sd You have to cut the exhaust to fit the 4.8i oval exhaust. Your dealer is right ,I had the same problem and checked all over the internet and that's the solution.

Or you can fit the chrome BMW OEM Round ones.

thank you for the information

SD has only just started to hit the streets in europe mainly dealer demo cars at the moment so may have to wait a while to find out what its like. Im thinking of getting the Hartge exaust. I think with the ons listed its more about look than sound
