Should I buy the AK, 20" Rims & Tint her?
 

Hey guys I've got a Black BMW X5 3.0Si I wont too buy the AeroKit and put her on 20" BMW rims is this a good idea?

Second question is should I tint her because it has the rear windows stock tint how will it look if I tint her? Will it be ok....

I say go for it -- i have saphire black 4.8 with the y-spoke 20's and i had all the windows tinted at 20% and aero-kit will be installed in a few weeks...even without the AK, the black car with dark windows and 20's looks really nice - very clean and aggressive...

Yeah Im going to go with the Y-Spoke 20's what about the tint though as it all ready has stock tint how will it look once I tint it over the stock tint? Its not going to look even is it?

Im thinking 75% or 85% all windows except windshield.

You should be able to tint just the fronts and get pretty close to matching the backs. Do a forum search on the topic as I remember an entire thread discussing which brand and %-age matches the factory tint.

In my case, I did not get the rear climate package, so my rears were not tinted from the factory, so I had them all done with the same tint...

I personally think the areo kit and 20" Y-spokes look great. I have the factory tint on the rears. The link is to a picture I posted today...

So if I put tint film over all the windows including stock tinted ones it will look fine? Im going to go run off search the forum for my question.

I would tint the whole thing, it will look much nicer. I tried tinting just the front to match the privacy glass and it did not look right. So I went 20% all around and 35% front windshield.

Yeah Im also thinking Im going to go all around not sure how dark I should make 'em thinking 75%-85% my friend is telling me to go lower he is saying go for 30%

on black, the AK is a gamble... I mean it's not entirely noticeable to the avg person and for the price ($1800+), it may not be worth it on the black.
