Daytime running lights
 

does anyone use the daytime running lights on their X ? ive tried a few times but im just worried the battery will drain .. is it possible ?

Why would it drain if your car is running.

if you leave it parked for about half an hour while waiting for someone ..

Sorry, I'm not good at sarcasm. I meant to say that the only way one's battery would run down if the car was on was if there was no alternator. Of course every car has an alternator.

It can be set by the dealer. And NO it isn't straining the battery.

No, it isn't set by the dealer, you switch it on/off in idrive. But you are correct that it won't drain the battery.
