Last weekend I posted the TIS pictures from the real oem site, they correspond to what the tire rack shows.

Not a fellow E70 owner, but the TPMS in your E70 platform, does it only alert when pressure is going real low or can you pull up pressure in each tire in real time.

BMW refuses us to view real-time tire pressure. It will only alert you if a tire drops low in pressure.

It would be nice to see it somewhere deep in iDrive, like in GM vehicles, but I personally don't think it's all that necessary.

I did a little bit of research and I found the following attachment from the BMW TPMS manufacturer. It has the part number for the BMW X5 on it and details how to install the TPMS. ;)

I have aftermarket TPMS in my setup after having one tire go flat on me. When you're running a LP setup, air just goes goes out very quick. The alert does a visual large red light lights up and a audible tone as well.

Mine *smartire* also does give e real time pressure readings. It's nice only needing to need the air gauge whenever I need to do a fillup. No more checking of tire pressure...

Then again, I'm just sensative to alignment and can also feel when the pressure on one tire.
