yep, nevada black leather. Initially I wanted another interior color, but these are very hard to find second hand. But the contrast spacegrau-black does look nice too ! :)

Thanks ! (Ideaal om aan de riviera te cruisen he :) )

It is certainly not as comfortable as with 19inch, but still very good. Although some claim the adaptive drive does not make a difference, I feel the opposite.
One thing puzzles me : the dunlop tires are runflats, I wonder if they exist in non-runflat aswell, since this also makes a huge difference...

villajoe 12-04-2007 02:41 PM

Looks sweet! Congrats!!

dr.jay 12-05-2007 01:36 AM

Congratulations. Nice car. Enjoy it in good health.

Did you test drive it before you pulled the trigger on it?

yep, see also my reply above about the comfort with these wheels. Since you said the comfort is ok with 22inch, I was convinced I should go for 21 :)
22 inch is a wallet braker for me :)

The rims on yours look big enough because of the colour and the design. I had 21" on my initial order as well until I decided to go for black and since this colour makes rims look smaller I decided to go for 22".

Enjoy the cruise along our Rivièra

Agreed on the rim size/colour perception :)

See you in Knokke :)

beco 12-05-2007 04:54 PM

Very, very nice car Hans! (Cruisen in Knokke lijkt deze dagen eerder op windsurfen in dat hondenweer ;) )

I saw your car up for sale at Kapaza.be, hopefully it is already sold.

Why not buying an X5 in Belgium. Is Germany cheaper or just quicker delivery?

X5audi 12-05-2007 07:57 PM

Excellent choice. The aerokit makes a massive difference!

(Inderdaad, en vandaag kan er zelfs in t binnenland gesurft worden :) )

My old one is sold yes. I looked for a spacegrau in Belgium, but couldn't find one which had the 'right' options. Most of the E70's for sale here are black cars. So I went to germany :) Prices are also a bit lower there, but most important of all : a lot of cars to choose from !

Hans_ACS 12-13-2007 02:37 PM

Picked up the new car today ! It drives absolutely brilliant, way more solid than the E53. Adaptive drive is great! Active steering aswell. I also love the comfort seats, never experienced such a good sitting position with my previous sport seats.
The only negative point are the running boards. The black rubber 'dots' are pressed through the metal when you step on them. Called the dealer, but as expected, they are clueless :(

dbinc 12-13-2007 03:14 PM

Congratulations, I like the wheels. Now I am confused whether to go with those wheels or 22" aftermarket ones.

M-individual 12-14-2007 03:58 AM

Congrats. Running boards look nice but they are a pain the a$$ getting in and out of the car. Never noticed the problem with the black rubber dots. I'll need to check this out.

Enjoy in good health.

datake 12-16-2007 12:17 PM

nice nice ;) 1 more day to go Hans :D

Porky 12-16-2007 12:29 PM

I had that problem with the rubber dots, my dealer fixed it ... it was missing a filler piece that keeps the dots from moving up / down.

Gl with ur car, nice colour choice

rastaFarai 12-17-2007 01:00 AM

very nice! best e70 i've seen!

dr.jay 12-17-2007 01:26 AM

Great Pics!!!!

Hans_ACS 12-17-2007 08:28 AM

update: just ordered extra parts to fix the running boards. I will not let the dealer fix this, since I'm afraid they will break something else :)

enpleinair 12-17-2007 07:50 PM

Hans, could you please share where you ordered this filler piece & what part # it is? thank you

I had a deduction, but this is probably due to the fact that I am registered with them as a car dealer. If you want one, let me know.
