Orange (Cayenne GTS)
Light Blue
Yellow (quite bright)
Pepsi Blue(nice)
Purple (different)

rh71 12-07-2007 10:37 AM

I could see the Pepsi Blue looking good on the E70.

But why are you looking to change your white? Your pics have been the inspiration for which I am building mine... right down to the saddle brown and light poplar. Did you get bored of white?

Wagner 12-07-2007 10:38 AM

:thumbdown horrible.

Imola Red, maybe...whatever that is..no.

Dubai_86 12-07-2007 10:41 AM

rh71: why thank you! :) but here in dubai all i see is white e70s, seriously, even more than black, very few platinum bronze and spacy gray silvers and non mineral green.
i just wanted to be a lil bit more special.
Q80X5: purple is a good idea ;) a dark purple! now thats a colour i did not have in mind! :) thanks

Dubai_86 12-07-2007 10:42 AM

wagner, lol imola red would make my e70 very much similar to the e53 which i dont want

Wagner 12-07-2007 10:46 AM

Aside from the fact that it is not available on the E70 :dunno:

It's your ride, if you choose to have it look like a Coca-Cola ad, that is your choice.

dr.jay 12-07-2007 10:57 AM

Techno Violet Purple, it was an E36 color, very dark almost black in low light

R8DX5 12-07-2007 12:52 PM

Go "smurf" blue. (Laguna Seca Blue in BMW terms)

That's my favorite color for the E46 M3, which they discontinued in the US after 2004.

BMW had Estroil Blue on the X5 4.6is. Perhaps that could make a return. On the second thought, I don't think the "big plump" E70 would look right in that hue..........

X5Jay 12-07-2007 05:35 PM

Cobalt Blue or Midnight Blue would get my vote...

Edit: ...or even BMW's own Carbon Black would look great.

definitly a sweet color....Red would also be a good choice but if you painting it then go for a color you wont see on future e70 models. I bet money that BMW will come out with something like the Imola Red or similiar. IMO i would choose a light evergreen color so it stands out alot more than a dark color.

Wagner 12-07-2007 05:49 PM

Here, take a color from Nissan

If I could choose any color, it would be the Carbon Black. Doubt that that can be done outside BMW factory though.

LeMansX5 12-07-2007 06:28 PM

You missed my thread from last year. More pics here of estoril blue and gold X5

Add a white stripe and it's "Starsky & Hutch" for the 21st century.

I'm sure a good paint shop could do it, why not?

lakai 12-07-2007 07:00 PM

If you like red, go with some House of Kolor Candy apple red paint with lots of metal flakes.

Q80X5 12-07-2007 07:14 PM
