Does your Wife get irritated by your "Comfort Access" habits?
This happens to me almost daily. Because I have comfort access my key almost never leaves my pocket, I quickly got used to not having to press a button on the remote to open the doors or lock the car.
When I go out with my wife and baby, upon entering the car I usually have my hands full so this feature is one of my favorites. However my wife always gets to the car before me and is usually left standing there while I leisurely stroll towards the car. Its funny actually, she always has this look on her face as if she was standing there for an hour waiting for me. She doesn't really get mad, but its rather something funny that I noticed ever since I got my car. |
what is the distance needed for it to work?
|
3-5 feet.
|
That rules. My wife's new 328 does not have it; can't wait for the experience. The quality of married life is measured by the quantity of these little victories.

also meant to ask... any of the doors can be opened by anyone else as long as the key is somewhere within 3-5 feet, correct? I'm paying $1k for an option I haven't been able to test in person...

I was just thinking the same thing. I'm picking my new girl today :excited: and she has comfort access. I am notorious for losing stuff at the bottom of my pocketbook. This should be interesting  Hijack over. BTW - I'm real good at that "You have got to be fookin kidding me" look. |
