Thanks! I'm excited. I don't have the arrival date, but expected in late January. Dealer will have more certain date later in the week. I was told probably week of Jan 21ish. Christmas/New Years interferes with production, apparantly, which I can totally understand.

Your expected delivery sounds about right. I ordered pretty much the same package as yours on Friday an was given an expected mid january delivery.

Yes, you'll see it through the Owners Circle when it has a production number (or VIN).

I know its early in the process but will you be doing any mods?

I was told by the sales dude that because it's a new vehicle 'build' that it's taking time. I'm sure he could bust BMWNA's balls, but I don't care. It comes when it comes. Now, that doesn't mean that I haven't stopped bugging him. :rofl:

Once you get your production number from your dealer, you will be able to see it on owner's circle... but beware that it may not be your spec at first... they fill it up with a dummy order to hold slots and they modify it to your spec... you'll see it reflected a day or two later. Mine is also slated for mid January (ordered 3 days ago).

Dude, I highly recommend adding the auto tailgate. It is a very nice feature for an SUV. You will use it more often than you think...

Otherwise, I have the exact same spec except for Black Sapphire...

Just remember that the OC site is the OLDEST information you will likely get. The 800 number is better and more accurate info on your production status.

this is outrageous. i ordered my 3.0sd over 3 weeks back and its slotted somewhere in January to build and you (US ) guys make an order recently and get it built supposedly at the same time :confused: .

For one, you're on the other side of the planet. Plus, you have an SD... I'd wait even 2 more months for that. But NOOOOO... we're not even 11 months close and the Nov. date hasn't been officially announced.

BTW, calling the 800 number shows mine is "scheduled for production" instead of "on order" like OC is saying right now. 800-831-1117
