thoughts on this wheel for winter? TSW?

curious what people think of this wheel style... aftermarket, 18", for winter tires (blizzak's).

it's called the TSW Nogaro. tire place says they can change center emblem to be BMW emblem... although they are still 'aftermarket' wheels. :)

tirerack has nothing available and BMW wants nearly $3000.... anyone have experience with TSW?

the other option is the TSW Mondello (below), although i thought maybe it had too many spokes/opening for snow to get trapped in. thoughts?

Are they chrome? I wouldn't put chrome on a winter wheel. If not, the top one looks easy to clean.

They are both nice. I like the easy to clean route myself for winter set up.

Beyern has a similar wheel to #1.

marcx5,

Are run-flats an option with these wheels? If you've given up on run-flats, you may find other packages from BMW that are cheaper than the "winter package 209 18" run-flats" that one can normally buy for $2,800.

And the first wheel looks better...

# 1 looks better and easier to clean.
Don't know anything about TSW so can't comment on quality.
I'm assuming that offset, bolt pattern, weight rating are OK for the E70?

As this rate, winter will be over before you get your snow shoes on ;)

I like the top pic, fwiw...sure look fancy for a winter wheel.
I waddled on TSW's web site which doesn't tell one much,
but interestingly, their "application guide" lists no fitments
for E70 X5...maybe site is not updated. Just a heads up to
make certain the wheels you are focusing on, fit.
