Rear window opens without reason

Well, I've had my E70 for over a month. Found the first "oddity" so I think I'm doing pretty well so far. Really enjoying the driving on the windy back-roads around here.

The passenger-side rear window is occasionally open anywhere from about 2 - 8 inches. It seems to be happen when I'm locking or unlocking the car but haven't been able to figure out a pattern yet. It may even be related to the use of the auto tailgate...

Anyone seen this?

I've had my ('07) model about 3 1/2 months and no problems like this. In fact, I haven't experienced any problems that I am aware of!!!!

Yep, drive the Merritt a lot. I've been pleasantly surprised to find that cars move over for a fast moving X5 --- didn't use to see that all the time in my 328i :)
