I find that the HUD really makes the nav worth the money. No need to take the eyes off the road. I do quite a few appointments in clients homes and no more worry about missing street signs, bad directions, or outdated maps, ect. Voice option is nice but not needed if you have HUD, as next direction is always displayed. I will never order another car without HUD. The only problem I've found thus far is nav & HUD in fog, then I just switched it off and turned on voice.
