is it safe to assume MY2010 x5 would get another refresh?

i noticed after every 3 model years bmw makes some big changes. i guess in 2010 there will be another one? are there any concepts up yet? thanks.

From what I have noticed, once BMW come out with a model, 3 1/2 yrs later there's a facelift and 3 1/2 yrs later a new model. I think they have a 7yr cycle.
If this is correct, there should be a facelift for the E70 in 2010.

It is only a guess at this point, but I would say a minor refresh in 2010, for the 2011 model year. I also think that the 2009 models out at the end of 2008 will see some new powertrains.

Concepts are useless except for laughs, since they are done by magazines using photoshop more than by BMW. Only concepts that matter are shown at the major car shows, and those concepts are indicative more than precise representations.

Yep, there'll be a facelift in 2010. Every BMVay gets a facelift every 3 and a half years so I guess in mid-late 2010 we will see some minor changes to areas like the front/back bumpers, new rims maybe, and edited front/backlights shape probably..

BMW of late is moving towards 2 refreshes during the model lifecycle of 7 years. So expect something sooner. And future 'X' cars with DPC to bear Xdrive badge.
