Hi my dealer has told me that i have the wrong lead for my usb connection they have told that the number on the cable is not right on the rectangle box half way down the cable 0 429 645 stamped on it what do you guys have stamped on yours anothe dealer supplied lead so they will not change it

If they gave you the wrong lead. They should exchange it for the correct one, period. It's called customer service and customer retention. I would call BMW UK and get them to talk to the dealer. That's just not right if they gave you the wrong one.
