Any E70 accessories from Japan ?

Hi guys, I am on a biz trip to Tokyo. I know that Japanese here are crazy about modding their cars... I dont have much time to search, but has it been discussed here what specifically-Japanese addons people get for their E70 ???

Hate to say it, but Japanese mod Japanese cars. Out of German cars, most mods are available for lower end cars such as 3 series, C class MB's and Audi A4's due to the fact that cars are cheaper and people like to enhance them. (on budget)
Any serious mods for vehicles like X5, I would look for in Germany if anything.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

So far most of the bimmers I've seen in Japan are 3-series sedans. I saw one X5 (an E53), couple of X3s, a few 5-series.. None of them were modded, so proveg, you seem to be right.

I would look for some Fog bulbs. They have a better selection of good quality bulbs closer to the H.I.D. color.

I agree with getting bulbs from Japan. Also, while you're at it, look into getting a replacement rear camera for the E70. Have a nice trip, alexmish.

Well, I've tried... If any of you ever been to Japan, specifically Tokyo, specifically Akihabara (Electric City), you will understand... First of all, Japanese (in general) dont give a s..t about the rest of the world when it comes to electronics. 99% of stuff is not usable outside of the country, and if you can not read Japanese, "good luck" using it... Secondly, the "electric city" - a place in Tokyo where you can, supposedly, get just about anything from wires to loo's seats with sensors which raise up as you walk towards it, then announce "thank you for letting me get rid of your human waste" (loose translation), automatically flush and close the cover, apparently does not carry a replacement rear view cameras which would work with a german car... Anything for Toyota, Honda, Suzuki etc... And that place is the size of downtown Manhattan. Imagine floor area of a Best Buy store, except it has 7 floors of that size... And that is just one store out of probably a few dozens they have there, not to mention small shops which run in 100's...

If you are a gizmo junkies - that is the place for you to be !

How about some pics of those places.
