Rear wiper question
 

Sorry about all of the quick questions here. I've noticed when I leave the rear wiper on when I turn off the car, it doesn't turn back on when I restart this. Is this normal. For the longest time, I couldn't figure this out and I would always push it back causing the wiper fluid to come out in pouring rain.

This is, I guess, to prevent braking the wiper's arm if it freezes to the glass in the winter times. Same thing for the front wipers.
