BMW CCA Refund Check

Some of you may find this interesting.

I picked up my 4.8i around November 16th - I sent in my paperwork on the 23rd, they officially received it on the 28th.

We received or check yesterday - that's one heck of a wait!

Most likely had to do with the Holidays, but I was beginning to think the whole thing was a myth.

Cheers,
KEF

the member here posted something like this before and have recieved the check pretty much the same turn around time as yours. But hey, come to think of it, you have a check to enjoy with :2thumbs:

For our 335 it took 12 weeks. BMWCCA told me that this is typical.

elvism 02-05-2008 01:27 PM

im still waiting for mine about 8 weeks now

Ah, ok guys then I'm not alone.

I recall doing a search way-back-when and remember seeing some very fast turn around numbers (a few weeks).

In any case, it really doesn't matter - I just thought it was a but funny.

Cheers,
Keith

Funny how the 'grace' period is so much less on a rebate/refund than a bill ;)

What's a CCA refund cheque?

Islands52 02-05-2008 04:08 PM

If you are a BMW CCA member for a year or more and buy a CPO or new BMW, you can apply for a $500-$1000 refund check.

got mine after about 9 weeks

Wagner 02-05-2008 04:31 PM

sometimes you have to wait for FREE money. :)

Monty04 02-05-2008 05:12 PM

For my 2005 X5, I only had to wait 5 weeks for the check. For my 2008 X5, I sent the application in three weeks ago. So, we'll see how long it takes this time.

It took my parents about 6 weeks for their rebate on the pre-owned 325i sport.

Right, you would have had to be a BMWCCA member for at least 365 days.

:band: however, it is never too late to join as you now own a BMW. typically, membership is $40 / yr and you get a nice monthly magazine from the club. and after a year of membership you will get the rebate when you pick-up the sweet CPO'd 3 series for the wife.

Only problem is you can only get the check once a year :(

So if you're me, you can't keep getting free dollars...
