Did everyone here receive a Pkg from BMW
 

with a sketch of an X5 "suitable for framing". Got it earlier this week. Very nice of BMW, but the sketch is kinda weird, shows an X5 with massive mud running tires.

I received a package but it only had two free tickets to the auto show.. very nice as I had planned on going..:thumbup:

not with those contents...but one with BMW DVDs and stuff.

i just received a mag. Gee Canada sucks

haha, yep I feel your pain. We bought 2 bmw, and for that we received not one, but 2 'bmw magazines'.

i got a few goodies ..

first i got a bundle of roses ..
2nd , i got the x5 key chain but i replaced that with a monte blanc one
3rd , i got the "BMW rim cleaner gel" along with a few brushes ..
4th i got a BMW x5 toy ..

KaiFy did pretty good considering his dealer wouldn't answer his calls a few months back :thumbup:

Actually come to think of it, my "official bmw" welcome package only consisted of that silly magazine and a road side assistance card. I did however get some goodies from the dealer:

- Winter mats for both cars (x5 & e92)
- Keychains for all sets of keys
- Ipod/usb Y-Cable
- $200 gift certificate to use at the bmw store inside the dealership

That was about it

Didn't get a thing...

Although I got four free tickets to the auto show from my Audi dealer :thumbup:

Picked my up 1/3/08 - received nothing from BMW
 

It's been 6 weeks since I got my X5, and I haven't received anything from BMW.

Quite amazing that a company wouldn't acknowledge a customer's purchase. I also haven't received a survey call regarding the sales experience (which was great).

I've received a lot of acknowledgement on my purchase from 1/29... about 3 dealership people came up to me at different times as I was finalizing papers getting ready to drive off with my new car and I also did get the survey call about 3-4 days later like they said. Though I haven't received a gift like these people... yet.

Still waiting for my X to be deliverd (allready get the BMW mag....yeeh) But the dealer has invited me to circuit experiance, test the X5 and some other cars (650i, Z4, M5,...) on the race circuit.
He also got me VIP tickets to the opening night for the European motor show in Brussels.

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner. But to give you and idea, it's an 8x10 sketch of a space gray X5 with giant, highly stylized wheels and tires. The weird part is it's signed with a year and the year is '05. It's definitely an E70 from so I have to wonder if it's a reprint of a prototype drawing.

haven't received anything either.... had my X since mid Dec 07..

did get a few keychains and matts when i picked her up though...

but nothing in the mail...

Just received my silver box in the mail. Promotional dvd and four short stories on cd from the BMW audio book collection. For the cost of the contents and packaging I would have preferred a credit at my dealer to have bought something useful, but then maybe all the "cool" stuff isn't worth anything.

Yeah, I just got my "gift", it was the promo DVD and 4 audio books on CD. There was also a small and I mean very small book included with some interesting facts about BMW history and design. Overall pretty useless if you ask my opinion.

Also, just received that gift a couple of days ago.

I got a gift from Porsche yesterday (because I'd asked for info from them about 4 months ago). They sent me, in rather large box, a steel painted (high quality) road sign which translates to "Porsche Street". Along with DVD and brochure etc. My son snapped up the Porsche sign :)

All I got were the dvds like everyone else but my dealer gave me a buncha bmw apparel and a small model X5. I got a better gift from my credit card company decent digital camera and a $2000 gift cert. to a jewelry store

This is what I received today: sorry for the quality. I also received a silver box about two months after purchase.

I got a silver box with some cool stuff. and the DVD about the history of making BMWs

same here.... silver box with cds of story books and a dvd on BMW history...and a BMW assist card to put in my wallet!!

actually it was all unneccessary !! nothing more than promotional stuff that really wasn't needed...or had much value after the fact...

I would have preferred a flashlight or other "useful" gift like a T-shirt, cap or even a key chain...

considering the amount of work put into making these dvds and story books, i'm sure it would have been cheaper sending us these items instead...

I got a big NOTHING and when I asked my BMW dealer (GM) for a couple of passes to the NY Auto show I got "we dont choose to put our marketing dollars there..however you can always stop in for a $5 off coupon"? PS. Lexus sent me a free ticket and I havent bought a car from them since in 2000. Anyone with any extra NY Auto Show ticket you're not using and feeling like making my 16 yo boy smile let me know and I'll PM you my home address. I'll even PayPal you the 41 cents postage !

I just got mine about a week ago. Looks really nice.

I just received a nice black box thanking me for being with BMW so many years... it was a shinny silver USB in the form of a bmw key. its super nice! but only with 4gigs

Just got the USB memory stick shaped like a key. Looks like it comes preloaded with some pictures/info.

4Gs! Whoa... mine is only 2Gs.
