There are (at least) two different resets. The 25 second reset (holding the throttle pedal down until the transmission beeps, ensuring that the engine is not running at the time) is to reset the transmission shifts, which learn your driving habits over time. The 10 second reset (turning the ignition on, then off, 10 seconds each, then starting the engine) is to reset the adaptive throttle, which adapts to how aggressively you press the throttle. Don't know if it works with Sprintboosters, though

All of this was learned on older generation cars, so I assume that the E70 functions the same. If not, I stand to be corrected.

And don't forget the 45 second reset! Yeah, that's a good one...

A hot blonde will pop out from your rear seats and grant you one wish. Anything you want, goes. Try it!

Oh wait, that only happens if you have a SprintBooster. Nevermind.   :D

Must be a special deal on SprintBoosters, if they are throwing in hallucinogens

edit: fixed typo

I'm confused about this feature  Is there only a blonde option and do you have to pay for upgrades?

The turning ignition on, the turning ignition off, or the ten seconds?

It is posted on this site. Here is the link:

Not sure if E70 is any different than previous models.

Hi all,
I would like to say my personal experience on Sprint booster on my X5 E70 3.0SD. My car is reprogrammed by Hartge so I don't really know if this also has any effect on my comments.

So, Yesterday I went to Boulekos, manufacturer of the sprint booster here in Greece. I was very excited after all the great reviews that i ve read all over the internet and I went there to buy one! As I arrived I talked to Mr Boulekos and some other guys they explained to me how it works and they fitted one on my X so I could test drive it!

I have to admit it wasn't what i was expecting. Who knows maybe my expectations were very very high! Ok for sure it feels a little different when pushing the pedal in D(drive mode) meaning that the car responds faster. But because i am a bit of nervous driver and I like to step on it anyway, the car kicked down a lot and i didn't like that and especially in D/Sport mode. Also I tend to drive the car 80% in M(manual mode) so there was not a big difference... maybe for some it feels different and it worths it but for me it does not worth the 226euro which they asked for.

I tested on my car both versions of sprint booster and Automatic and manual.. I liked more the manual one which was more sensetive and aggressive ( although it is recommended for manual cars and not auto)...

Finally I have to say that i went there to buy the product and not just test it....:(

that's all folks!
