iDrive turning off too soon!!!!

When I push the engine start button to turn the ignition off, the radio and the iDrive used to stay on (steering wheel still in driving position) before I lock the car (the engine is off at this point).

Today, I noticed that the clock was reset to zero (had to reset the time) and that when I turn the ignition off, my iDrive screen would just go off completely. However, the steering wheel memory still works fine the way it always has been (it only moves back to the default position from driving position after the doors are locked, not when the engine is turned off).

Did anybody else experience this?

I did get an iDrive update to get the PDC/Camera view.

Thanks in advance.

i dont know about the clock resetting but heres how it goes :

1. pushing the start/stop button for one sec , turn the ignition off but the idrive and radio etc stays on for about 20 minutes .

2. holding and oushing the start/stop button , turns the ignition off as well as the idrive , radio etc .

Exactly, the "staying on for about 20 minutes" part did not happen with mine.

Today, I unplugged my 6FL ipod y cable hooked to my ipod video and everything worked as it should. Thanks for the reply!
