Clunking noise

Hi guys,

quick question : this afternoon I noticed a clunking noise, not loud but it can be heard clearly from inside the car, when going over bad roads with small potholes. I can perfectly recreate this sound when steering quickly form left to right and back, even at very slow speeds (less then 20 mph). The strange thing is that I cannot hear the sound anymore when I perform this manouvre with the windows down..

Any ideas what this might be ? I am afraid my dealer will say it's normal ...

I bet you it's the stabilizer link,or it called (SWING SUPPORT, FRONT, LEFT or RIGHT)is bad.

My car had a similar clunking noise and the air conditioning pump had snapped off, breaking the studs. It was reported to BMW as a fault
