Getting a 4.8
 

So i will be looking for a slightly used 07 4.8. All i konw is i want black/black. What are some options i should look for? What comes standerd on a 4.8? rear back up cam? nav? Thanks for the help...btw...:imnew:

For standard equipment lists, go to www.bmwusa.com and look it up for the '08s; there was little if any change between the two years in terms of equipment.

sat nav, backup camera, parking sensors, auto-dimming exterior mirrors are all options.

I see. I'm going to be picking up a pre-owned one. I guess it'll be hard to get all the options i want. Is there a Sport package that comes with the popular options?

As AzNMpower32 said, your best bet is to go onto bmwusa.com to look at the 2008 models. There is really no difference between the standard and optional features between the 2007 and 2008.

What I would do is to go bmwusa.com, use the build your own feature and create your ideal X5 4.8. Here you can read up on all the options and packages. Print the vehicle summary out and check the preowned inventory of your local BMW dealers. A BMW dealer may even be able to do a search for you. Good Luck. :thumbup:

There is only one thing that's new for 2008 that you won't find on an '07 model--the power trunk opener/closer. Other than that, I believe the options lists are identical.

The panoramic roof is standard on MY 08.

Auto Hold feature is standard on 08's and weren't available in 07.

i also think that the soft close doors is only a 08 option.

This option is not available in the US.

Wish I had soft close doors =/
