Anyone in the UK got one of these yet for the E70?. Theyre advertised on here so assume ok.

no its advertised on here, you can buy the disk - www.bmwsatnav.co.uk, what i want to know is does it work, and is it the latest 2008 map information

you can do it yourself using the instructions on this website for less than £20, and yes it does work - although it will not alert you to a camera audibly, merely show it on the map. See instructions in post #4 on this thread:

No it does not work on MK IV, search for 2008-1 high map

It works on my X5 E70
I suppose it works on the E60 and E90, but not on the older series
I used DVD -R, it works fine ;)
