What Grade of Engine Oil should i use for 3.0SD

Hi,

I have 4000 KM on my 3.0SD so i was going to do an oild change to get riid of break in dirt.

I have been looking at the Castrol Edge (For Turbo Diesels) but I am not sure if I should use 0W30 or 5W30.

Any ideas?

What does your manual, dealer, and BMW say??? :confused:

All it says is BMW Longlife 4!

Remember, BMW have extremely long oil change intervals to keep their costs down - I want my engine to have a long life, and I dont mind paying for it
