Titanium. 100% no questions.....TITANIUM. Honestly, hate the black!

I definitely agree that it should be either all titanium or all black.

Mine came all titanium, and on the space gray it looked a little washed out. I bought the 3.0 kidney grilles and the non-sport mesh grilles as well. I then painted the chrome kidneys black and now completed the 'black-out look'.

I'm away all weekend, but I'll try to take some pics next week with the results.

I ordered the black mesh inserts for below the kidney grille after seeing the pic of an X6 with the same combination, (http://www.xoutpost.com/x6-e71-e72-fo...s-spotted.html). They were relativley inexpensive so it's worth the try. I'll post pics when they arrive and are installed.

Was driving today and saw another X5 in my rear view mirror....it was a 3.0d with the balck grill. So glad my 3.0 sd has the titanium....I would definitely upgrade if I had the black.

Anyone have a recommendation for a place to get an Titanium grille at a good price? The dealer wants $245 and I'm wondering if there is a lower price.
