Lowered X5
 

Has anyone fitted lowering springs to their X5 ? I'm looking around for a supplier but it seems Eibach who had springs for the E53 dont have any for the E70.

I was really impressed with the performace of the Eibach springs when the dealer fitted them to my E53 aswell as how it made the X5 look overall.

The M-Sport X5 appears to be lowered and the amount by which it is is what I am trying to achieve.

This one has 30/40mm H&R springs

the e70 looks so much better lowered.

it does look a bit better lowered but you're cutting out a factor for why you buy SUV/SAVs.

It does look like whole different type of vehicle but does the ride suffer as a result?

Why not just get a 5 series wagon instead?

Put simply, a 5 series doesnt look like an X5 and I bought the X5 because I liked it's looks.

My E53 was lowered 30mm which dramatically improved its appearance because the ride height was similiar to the 4.8is. It just looked more solid and the eibach springs were made especially for it. The performance was outstanding and I can't describe it well enough to explain exactly what I mean to those who have never experienced it so I wont try. Basically I want that performance back and it will only be a matter of time.

The M-Sport is lower than standard X5s and thats the ride height I want.

Keep in mind too there are people who buy a 5 series and lower that too with either factory or aftermarket kits but we dont suggest they buy a go kart :rofl: or would you ? :confused:
